Edward Clark, LPC, CCADC, CTP
Ed Clark is an author, speaker and the founder of Life Focus, Inc. He is licensed by the State of Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor. He is a Biblically based and clinically sound Christian Counselor. He received his Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. In addition, he is also a Certified Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Trauma Professional. He began his counseling career work as a program coordinator with an independent living program for at-risk youths in Atlanta. He has worked as a therapist in a variety of therapeutic programs with a diverse range of client issues. Over the years, he has worked diligently to develop and hone his specialties in order to better serve his client base with integrity and sound counseling applications.
Ed has a passion for helping people that are struggling with substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, sexual brokenness, couples therapy, family issues, depression and anxiety. He takes a holistic approach to helping his clients by working closely with them to identify underlying issues, causes, past events and dysfunctional beliefs.
Ed believes his faith in God is what has allowed him to help so many hurting people and makes every effort to share that same faith with his clients wherever they are in life. He holds firm to the Word of God being the truth to teach us wisdom and help us learn to live life faithfully. Ed can testify to God’s healing presence through the counseling ministry over the years and looks forward to being used by God in the lives of others.
Ed is married and has two children. He takes great joy in spending quality time with his family.
